Puppy's Age	Frequency to Feed Puppies
6 weeks to 3 months	Four or more small feedings spaced regularly throughout the day or measured “free choice”.
3 to 6 months	Increase the amount of each meal, and gradually space them out to three meals a day or measured “free choice”.
6 Months and Over	You may gradually space out the meals to twice daily or measured “free choice”.

Puppies need roughly twice the quantity of nutrients of adult dogs, for both growth and energy. Obviously, their tummies cannot handle large quantities of food; so much like human babies they will need frequent feedings at first. Use the chart above as a guideline and adjust as needed.
